Middle Name, Middle Name, What Can It Mean?
Laura tagged me with this neat little meme to find out what middle names mean?
The Rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give the facts.
2. You must list one fact that is relevant to your life for each letter in your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name than use a name that you like.
3. When you are tagged you must write a post containing your own middle name game facts.
4. At the end of your post you must tag one person for each letter in your middle name.. Don’t forget to comment them telling that they are tagged and to read your post to get the rules.
My middle name is Dawn (though if you come to my blog or read my publications you will see an 'O' in between 'Melissa' and 'Markham'. That 'O' is for my maiden name which is 'Orndorff.' Isn't it odd how we throw away our middle names when we get married? Though I must admit, I love my new initials. M.O.M. An interesting side note...my mom had anticipated having twins...why I am not sure since there aren't any twins in our family. If I had had a twin sister, her middle name was going to be 'Dusk'. Pretty cool, eh!?
Daughter. I am an only child of an only child (my mom). However my dad is one of 7 and my mom's mother was one of 9!
A nimals. I love learning about all of the amazing animals that God has placed on this planet. That's why I share animal news here.
Writer. I have been writing in one form or another since I was 10 years old. Poetry, stories, novellas, books, newsletters, and now blogs. I can't get away from it! And I love the written word!
Native American ancestor (my great, great grandmother was a full-blooded Native American). My heritage also includes, German, English, Irish and Scottish ancestry.
Now for my four friends....
