WFMW: Freebies and Contests!
I love getting freebies. Not only do they make going to the mail a much happier event (people don't send letters much anymore so my mailbox seems to be full of bills and junk). But freebies add some fun to our life! They enable us to have some things that otherwise we wouldn't have. I have even received items that I have then given away in contests on my blog or as gifts to people. And some freebies have enabled me to learn about a product without an upfront investment. If I like it, great! If I don't, then I have saved myself some money!
Here are some places I frequent for great contest links and freebies!
Laura Williams Musings - she was just voted #5 out of the top 20 contest blogs out there! I have won so many great things thanks to her daily contest posts! It is a must stop every day for me.
Free Stuff Times - this site lists free stuff that you can get from all over the web.
International Freebies For All - tired of seeing for U.S. residents only, then check out this site!
It's All Free Online- another freebie website
The Prize Blog - another contest site.
Walmart Free Samples - A great way to test out products before you buy.

I agree, I've won 9 giveaways in the last month! My favorite site to reference is Prizey, the button is on my blog. I usually have a giveaway a week myself. I have one right now with multiple vendors, and am co-hosting a blog decorating contest starting Friday.

You're right, all we ever get these days are bills and junk mail. Some freebies sure would be a nice surprise.

Just recently, I was sorting out all the magazines and CDs I received thanks to my blog. It's actually papery freebies, CDs and DVDs that you receive the most if you are outside the USA, Canada and Australia. So don't be disappointed to see just a few other freebies and samples, that never make it to my door by the way.
And contests! Argh! Aren't they addictive? I've won around $300 of prizes myself, and that's just in less than a month.
I should start having my own giveaways soon. :)
