Christmas Day

| | Comments (4)

When I was a kid, I loved the fact that holidays never ended on the particular holiday. They often stretched out for a couple of weeks or more. My grandparents lived about 3 hours away, so we would have our Christmas or birthday at home and then there was always more Christmas or birthday when we went to see them. So, even though the day of Christmas is over, I still have to get together with my mom and stepdad and my dad and stepmom for our Christmas celebrations...so there are still fun gift giving times ahead.

We had a lovely Christmas yesterday. The kiddies were up at 6 and I couldn't get them to go back to sleep (can you believe I even tried?) Well, we all got up and by 6:30 were ready to open presents. Katrina's favorite gifts were a really cute purple dress and purse from her grandmother, boots and a guitar from Santa. She strongly resembles Hannah Montana now! Jack got Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii which is a favorite gift for him and Daniel, Jack and Katrina are loving Guitar Hero III. I got some very cute and much needed pajamas and sweat pants. One pair of pajamas has sock monkeys on it and another pair has pandas on it. I love my warm, cozy pajamas.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
