HDTV - It Really Does Make a Difference

Last year while we were spending money on home improvements and paying off our land, we took some money for something fun. We had a lovely Toshiba TV that we had purchased about 13 years ago. I remember the night we bought it...we drove home with it on the top of our station wagon because it was literally too large to fit in our station wagon. I don't remember bringing it in the house, but this past spring when we gave it away, it literally took three college students to carry it out of the door! We had contemplated putting it into the kid's playroom, but it was too wide (front to back) to go through the door! Honestly!!!!

So we replaced our huge television with a flat screen HD TV. And I can't begin to tell you how much clearer the picture is! There are nature programs that we watch where we feel like we could reach out and touch whatever it is we are seeing. The action shows and sci-fi shows are so cool...especially now that more and more channels are making the switch to HD.
