Movie Review: The Reaping
Last night Daniel and I enjoyed watching one of his Christmas presents: The Reaping on DVD. I like a good scary movie, but good scary movies are hard to find. Modern day movie makers often seem to think that to be scary, a movie has to be gross and disgusting. So it is always with trepidation that I sit down to watch a 'scary movie'.
We dimmed the lights, sent the kids off to play in the playroom and settled in with fingers crossed. I can't tell you about the story, because I don't want to give away what is going on. But it involves the 10 plagues, a southern bayou, and God and evil. Give it a try. If you enjoy a good scary story, you will enjoy this one.
