Dreaming of a Place to Live...

| | Comments (4)

Sometimes I like to dream about where I would like to live if I could live anywhere I wanted to. Since we have travelled a bit, I have some ideas. One state that both my husband and I have enjoyed very much is Colorado. Particularly the western half with the beautiful mountains and the clear streams. The snow is another attracting feature. We love snow and don't get anywhere near as much as we would like here in Virginia.

So I have been looking around, just daydreaming and I came across Winter Park real estate. Just an hour from all of the conveniences of Denver and nestled in the beautiful Rocky mountains. Fishing, skiing, hiking, and mountain biking are just some of the activities you can enjoy in your own back yard. Sounds like the life to me! Alas, it looks like I would have to win the lottery in order to purchase a home there, but I can dream, can't I?

So, where would you like to live if you could live anyplace you wished?

Actually, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Lots of places that I would like to visit, though!

wow... that sounds incredible!
I don't know where I'd live honestly. My two favorite places (that i've been) are Manhattan and Florence Oregon (coastal)...

We vacationed in Woodland Park. Just north of Colorado Springs. Great, beautiful place. I would hate to live where there was more snow than where I am now, but it is absolutely gorgeous. I was just thinking about it yesterday and thinking about how it might be my favorite vacation that we took.
