Movie Review: Astronaut Farmer

Last night the children and I sat down and watched The Astronaut Farmer (better late than never, right?). I enjoyed the movie. It was a nice role for Billy Bob Thornton, and unusual as he doesn't often play a nice guy. It is a movie about having dreams and pursuing them. There is even a homeschooling moment (though I don't think he filled out the proper paperwork.) There was a moment that I was quite taken aback (and if you have already seen the movie, you probably know what I mean). I was expecting one thing to happen, and I was shocked by what happened instead.

This is an inspiring movie. A movie about having dreams and working to see them come true (no matter what others may say or the failures you may have to overcome). This is a movie about a family working together and believing in one another. You can't go wrong with watching it.
