Spring is Springing Out All Over
They say pictures are worth a thousand words. Here are a few thousand words about what I am seeing around my home!

This is a lilac that I grew from a sprout that I took from a lilac at my dad's cabin. That lilac is over 100 years old. This is the first year mine has bloomed.
First time blooms on my redbud

My azalaes are putting on their spring duds.

Dogwoods are blooming, the Japanese maple in the right back was planted by yours truly 12 years ago. It was given to me as a gift when I left my job of 6 years. It fit in my Precis then, but now it is way too big for that!

I like your photo of your lilac and the butterfly
and I also like your azalaes :)
What a perfect shot of the butterfly! Spring is my favorite time of year!
April 18, 2008 10:11 PMI love all those flowers! My lilac won't bloom until May. It's still small. Two years ago I got my first bloom. Yes, bloom. One branch. I hope I get a lot this year. :-)
