Updates

Just a note to say hello. This week, two new laptops arrived at our home. We are very excited as my 3 1/2 year old laptop was not doing very well and Jack and Katrina's 5 year old desk top was getting so slow as to me exceedingly fretful!

So I spent yesterday evening and I am spending today getting these two computers up and running. You know...file transfers, setting up Outlook, installing things like Quickbooks and Office, gathering updates. So There will be no freebies for today. And a good chance there won't be any for tomorrow either. But they should be back on Monday.

I have to tell you I love my new Toshiba. The DVD drive is built in (I hate external drives...one more thing to keep up with). The plugins are on the sides and front of the computer instead of the back. The screen is larger than my other one and I can read this so much better than my old laptop. The colors are great....I am in love;)

I also have a built in web camera as does Jack. Our computers are exactly the same. His camera is working and mine is not. That is on my list of things to fix, but right now I am downloading huge amounts of updates...fun, fun, fun:) Thank goodness I am not having to do it on dialup!
